Dr. Sonia Rosado
Dr. Sonia Rosado is a dedicated higher education professional with over 20 years of experience in fostering sustainable and transformational cultures within university settings. Dr. Rosado is also the founder of UC San Diego's LGBT+ Living Learning Community, demonstrating her commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments for diverse student populations. Her work focuses on cultivating thriving campus communities that promote equity, belonging, and personal growth.

​As the Associate Dean and Director of Residence Life at Muir College, UC San Diego, Dr. Rosado is dedicated to fostering inclusive and equitable campus environments. She has trained her staff on equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and emotional intelligence, creating a culture of support and belonging to empower all students to succeed.​ In addition to her work in academia, Dr. Rosado collaborates with executive leadership in healthcare and private companies, conducting workshops to guide their initiatives in building and cultivating sustainable cultures through an emotional intelligence (EQ) lens. Her expertise helps organizations align their leadership practices with inclusive and transformational cultural goals.
