Our journey as an organization is deeply rooted in the passion and expertise of Dr. Sonia Rosado, whose educational background and research led her to write a groundbreaking book on the academic success of LGBTQ+ Latino/a students in higher education. With over 20 years of leadership training experience, Dr. Rosado has played a pivotal role in transforming the culture at her institution to promote belonging and academic success for students from diverse backgrounds and various intersecting identities. Drawing from a strong foundation in emotional intelligence and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles, she has designed curricula that foster transformational and sustainable cultures, ensuring lasting impact on both individuals and organizations.
